TSAVO WEST – TSAVO EAST & AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Day 1 of Your Tsavo Safari

We pick you up for your safari at 6:00 AM from the South Coast, or 6:30 AM for guests on the North Coast, at your beach hotel or private accommodation, and drive through the city of Mombasa to Tsavo West National Park. During the drive to the lodge, where you will have lunch, you will already get a first glimpse of the exciting two days ahead in Tsavo West National Park. In the afternoon, enjoy an extensive game drive to admire the park’s diverse wildlife. You will experience a surprising variety of African animals, bizarre landscapes, bushland, hardened lava flows, and springs. At sunset, return to the lodge for dinner in a wild, romantic setting.

If you book the Sarova Saltlick Lodge, you will be accommodated in the Taita Hills instead of Tsavo West, and with the Ziwani Camp option, you stay in a private reserve rather than Tsavo West.

Day 2 of the Kenya Safari – Tsavo West National Park and Amboseli

Highlights in the vast Tsavo West National Park, characterized by hilly and volcanic landscapes, include the famous Mzima Springs, where you can observe lions, crocodiles, and hippos. After visiting Mzima Springs, the safari continues to Amboseli National Park, which offers a representative cross-section of East Africa’s savannah wildlife. Upon arrival at Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, you will first head to your lodge or camp for lunch. Afterwards, your driver will take you on a scenic game drive through Amboseli, giving you plenty of opportunities to photograph wildlife in their natural habitat. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 of the Kenya Safari – From Amboseli National Park to Tsavo East National Park

Begin your day with an unforgettable sunrise over Kilimanjaro in the wilds of Amboseli National Park. After an early morning game drive and a hearty breakfast, continue to Tsavo East National Park. Here, you will encounter a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, antelopes, and wild cats. Lunch is served at the camp. The afternoon game drive offers you the chance to observe Tsavo East’s diverse wildlife up close.

Day 4 of the Kenya Safari – Tsavo East National Park

After an early morning game drive and breakfast in Tsavo East National Park, embark on your final safari drive in the park. The return drive to Mombasa will include more game viewing. Lunch is served near Voi. In the afternoon, your safari concludes with arrival at your beach hotels.
