WASINI ISLAND EXCURSION
You will be picked from your hotel at around 7 am and drive to Shimoni, where you will board a traditional Arabic dhow and sail into the Wasini Channel. The day is focused on relaxation and viewing stunning and colorful surroundings. In Kisite Marine Park you will snorkel and swim and spot dolphins. Kisite Marine National Park is one of the most famous marine parks in the world. Animals seen here include turtles, marine tortoise, coral reefs and different types of colorful marine fishes. Enjoy an excellent seafood lunch at the island. Thereafter, you will sail along the mangrove swamps and then visit the Wasini Island where you will learn more about the Swahili people. The island is approximately 5 km long and 1 km across and sparsely populated and undeveloped. There are no cars or roads. Arrive at your hotel around 5 pm.
