The tour takes you on a Kenya round-trip through all the well known national parks and game sanctuaries including Masai Mara, Amboseli and more:
DAY 1
We pick you up for your safari around 6:00 AM and drive through the city of Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park. On the way to the lodge, where you will have lunch, you will have a first glimpse into the wildlife of Tsavo East. At 4:00 PM you start for your first game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lionhill Lodge or Sentrim Tsavo Camp.
DAY 2
One more game drive after breakfast, before driving back to Tsavo West National Park. Here you will find a surprising variety of African wildlife, bizarre landscape, solidified lava flows and springs. Lunch at the lodge. At the Rhino Sanctuary, set out in the afternoon, to find the rare black rhino. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge.
DAY 3
After breakfast check out and drive towards Amboseli National Park. Late afternoon game drive in Amboseli, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Dinner and overnight at the Kilima Camp.
DAY 4
Early breakfast and last game drive, after drive via Nairobi to Sandai Farmvia, on the edge of the Aberdare National Park. Here you spend the next 2 days with game drives in the Aberdare National Park and Sweetwaters Park / Ol Pejeta and / or Solio Ranch, all close to the German-run, cozy farm. Afternoon game drive at Sweetwaters Park or Solio Ranch. Sandai Farmvia also offers other activities such as horse safaris. Dinner and overnight at Sandai Farm.
DAY 5
The Aberdare National Park is one of the smaller national parks, yet offers interesting flora and fauna due to its topography and altitude. Between two volcanic mountains, which cause frequent rains, an alpine heathland with moors and mountain forest has developed, where bamboo grows. Here you will find the rare black rhino, bush and giant forest hogs and black panthers, which are actually leopards with a recessive gene mutation, coloring the fur black. Elephants, which find plenty of food in the bamboo and forest areas, are the main attraction of the National Park. Full board and overnight at Sandai Farm.
DAY 6
Today we continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is mostly known for millions of flamingos gathering around the lake. Lunch and afternoon game drive. There are more than 60 white and black rhinos in the Nakuru National Park! Dinner and overnight at the Nakuru Flamingo Hill Lodge.
DAY 7
Morning game drive, after, drive to Masai Mara with a stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, you will go on a game drive on the way to the camp where lunch is served. Afternoon game drive, then dinner and overnight at Oloshaiki Camp or Aruba Mara Camp.
DAY 8
Today you take a full day game drive through Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife sanctuary. In the time of the great migration (July – October) hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and countless zebras migrate from the Serengeti to the Mara, looking for better grazing grounds. But not just during this period, even all year round, animal lovers always get their money’s worth. The reserve is known for Africa’s largest lion population, and those who want to get the African big five in front of their cameras have the best chance here. Dinner and overnight at Oloshaiki Camp or Aruba Mara Camp.
DAY 9
Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi, END.
Or: Drive back to Nairobi and flight to Mombasa, transfer to your beach hotel.
Or: Flight right from Masai Mara air strip to Mombasa or Ukunda/Diani Beach and transfer to your beach hotel.
