INSTINCT OF THE MARA – YOUR HOME IN THE MAASAI MARA
Hidden in a remote corner of the Olderkesi Conservancy, the camp celebrates the true luxury of privacy and endless possibilities. Here, the magical “Out of Africa” feeling is ever-present. Nestled in the unspoiled wilderness of the 7,600-hectare conservancy in the remote southeast of the Maasai Mara, you will enjoy unforgettable safaris in one of Kenya’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich regions.
On game drives, you will encounter antelopes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The chances of capturing the famous “Big Five” on camera in just one day are particularly high here.
The Olderkesi Conservancy is located far away from the more frequently visited regions of the Mara in the northwest. It is exceptionally rich in wildlife and worth visiting at any time of year—especially during the “Great Migration” from the end of July to mid/late September.
Since there is only one other lodge in this part of the Maasai Mara, you will share these unforgettable wildlife encounters with very few—if any—other guests. The camp is set on a hillside, surrounded by untouched forest, offering a high level of privacy along with very personal and attentive service.
Meals are served in the stylish main tent. Between safari activities, you can relax in the cozy lounge or on the private veranda of your accommodation. Before and after dinner, guests gather around the campfire to end the eventful day with a refreshing drink—accompanied by the mysterious sounds of the wilderness.
There are 7 premium safari tents, the Forest Suite, and a private villa.
ACTIVITIES ARE TAILORED DAILY TO YOUR INDIVIDUAL PREFERENCES:
Private game drives in specially designed 4×4 vehicles with open roofs, night drives within the conservancy, bush breakfasts and lunches, guided bush walks, waterfall hikes, sundowners, Maasai village visits, and balloon safaris (at an additional cost).
