SEVERIN SAFARI CAMP
Managed under German leadership, Severin Safari Camp is located in Tsavo West National Park, the largest wildlife reserve in East Africa. Guests can look forward to a unique blend of adventure, wellness, personalized service, and exceptional culinary experiences. Unfenced and seamlessly integrated into its natural surroundings, the camp offers an authentic safari atmosphere in the heart of the wilderness.
From the tents, guests enjoy beautiful views of the landscape and the wildlife passing freely by the waterhole. Maasai warriors provide round-the-clock security while also symbolizing the harmonious connection between people and nature that defines Severin Safari Camp. Here, comfort and warm, attentive service await in the midst of the African bush.
The camp features 27 luxuriously appointed accommodations. The octagonal tents are equipped with hot and cold running water, a shower, a separate toilet with bidet, comfortable beds with mosquito nets, and a private terrace. Each tent also includes 220V electricity, a hairdryer, and a safe. The tents and suites are arranged in an S-shape and connected by footpaths, with the Baraza conference tent and the KENBALI Spa located nearby.
The restaurant and bar both offer wonderful views of the wildlife roaming nearby. At the heart of the camp, beneath a cooling makuti roof, guests will find the reception area, safari boutique, the “Thorn Tree” Bar, and the “Out of Africa” Restaurant.
Even the most discerning food lovers will be impressed by the camp’s culinary offerings. Guests can enjoy unique à la carte menus accompanied by a selection of fine African wines. The chef is especially renowned for his meat specialties, prepared on hot stone or served as fondue. End the day in total relaxation with a glass of fine wine by the campfire, while watching wildlife move through the twilight.
