Severin Safari Camp is located in Tsavo West Nationalpark, the largest game reserve in East Africa. The German management creates a combination of adventure, wellness, personal service and culinary highlights for their guests. The camp integrates perfectly in the surrounding wilderness and, not being fenced, allows all sorts of animals to access the near water hole which can be watched right from the tents. Masai warriors not only take care of guests’ security 24/7, but also demonstrate a working symbiosis between camp, humans and nature.
The camp features 27 luxurious accommodations. The octagonal tents are appointed with running cold and hot water, shower, toilet and bidet, comfortable beds with mosquito nets and private terrace. Each tent features a hair dryer and safe box. The tents and suites are arranged along an S shaped path way. Baraza conference tent and Kenbali Spa are close by.
The cooling makuti roof of the camp center accommodates reception, Safari-Boutique, the “Thorn-Tree Bar” and the “Out of Africa” restaurant. Restaurant and bar provide a fantastic view over the area and animals passing by. Their head chef is well known for his meaty specialties, prepared on hot stone or as a fondue.
Let the day fade away with a glass of South African wine while watching roaming animals in the sunset.
